The Washington State Healthcare Safety Council (WSHSC) is a membership organization consisting of nearly 150 individuals and organizations interested in improving safety in healthcare facilities throughout Washington. Members enjoy recognition for their interest and support of safety within the environment of care:

  • Free quarterly attendance at half-day seminars on pertinent topics
  • Dissemination of other safety related information as needed to react to emerging issues
  • Opportunities for networking with peers and professional experts on cutting-edge issues
  • Annual recognition awards for achievements in improving the healthcare environment of care for both small and large organizations
  • Annual Membership Certificate for posting in your facility lobby or bulletin board

 

WSHSC is offering its programs in 2023 FREE to all who are interested! We have had a difficult few years and this is our gift to you. We hope you will benefit and renew your membership for the 2024 year!

About WSHSC

The Washington State Healthcare Safety Council (the Coucil) is a professional 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors (the Board) in accordance with written Articles of Incorporation.

The Board is a volunteer group committed to the guidance of the Council and promotion of healthcare safety. Since its founding in 1964, the Council has been highly dependent upon its membership which represents most hospitals, other healthcare facilities, and individuals dedicated to safety and the environment of care. Many of today’s Washington healthcare leaders have been members of the Council since its inception.
